Often neglected and ostracized, the blue collared community of Singapore is shunned and often hushed. Despite efforts by the nation state to bridge our cultural differences, an air of hostility still lingers within little India. Home to the many Indian migrant workers, the community kitchen hopes to instil a sense of community within the displaced workers, ultimately humanising their required presence within Singapore.
