The topic of death is often hushed within the society of Singapore and the stigma of it being closely tied to misfortune and all things bad, is further reinforced by the geographical designation of cemeteries; being in the outskirts amidst barren land, disassociated from society.

 

This project hence aims to reconcile the processes of Death and reintegrate it with the everyday through art-based programs that allow for the customized creation of Death-related objects, thereby normalizing its place within society.
