INVENTOR'S HOUSE
The design concept is to create a comfortable environment by which the client, a writer, is able to watch the world and gain inspiration without needing to step out of his comfort zone.
To minimise the amount of visual disruptions within the house in order to make it seem as a singular space, the rooms are defined by slight changes in levels in the walls, floor and ceiling to create implied spaces. The idea originating from the typeset and how the slight shift in level in its face could create something from nothing.
Blurring the boundaries between spaces, the spaces seemingly starts to blend. This removes the abrupt changes in emotions experienced as one passes from one space to the next resulting in an overall calming and comfortable experience as one ventures through the house.
