The building is organised spatially according to the differing levels of privacy. Cafes or shops are placed facing the service road to front the on-coming tourist crowd. Having the shops located there also serves to prop up the units above to provide an unobstructed view above adjacent shophouses.

Spaces of the more public domain serve to act as a physical barrier between public and private (residential) spaces on the ground floor, deterring passing pedestrians from entering the residential block.

At the hind of the building closest to the national heritage museum stands the 2 bedroom residential block which is provided with the largest amount of privacy as it caters to larger families.

Communal spaces are provided at every floor to provide exclusive spaces for the residents to hang out with family or neighbours undisturbed.
